Our 6 week Intermediate Wheel Throwing Course is designed for potters who are comfortable with the basics and want to build confidence, refine their technique, and tackle more challenging forms.

Throughout the course, you’ll develop greater control on the wheel while exploring new skills such as throwing larger pieces, creating matching sets, lidded forms, handles, altered shapes, and improving consistency. With plenty of demonstrations and individual guidance, you’ll have the opportunity to work on projects that suit your own interests and goals.

With small class sizes of just 4 people, you’ll receive personalised support in a relaxed, creative studio, giving you the space to experiment, develop your style, and push your skills further.

At the end of the course, you’ll choose your 6 favourite pieces to glaze and have fired. Any remaining work will be reclaimed and recycled, helping us minimise waste while making the most of every lump of clay.
